Our team wins the 2nd prize in the competition for the urban renewal of Helsinki East Urban Centre. It’s an honour to be part of the talented multidisciplinary team: K2S Architects, Playa Architects, Suomen Asuntokehitys, Ramboll Finland, Jason Bruges Studio, Suure, Bonava, Y-säätiö, SATO, EKE-Rakennus and JM Suomi.
The City of Helsinki organised an open international competition regarding the central quarters of Itäkeskus and Puotila. The aim of the competition was to find innovative, inspiring and sustainable solutions for further planning and the eventual construction of the area. The competition jury recommends that the development of Puhos and Puotila areas will be continued based on our proposal ITIS SITI.
