The renovation of Akola Manor is nominated for the biennial European Union Architecture Prize – Mies van der Rohe Award.
Akola Manor, which has been renovated to a high standard respecting the spirit of the place, is a unique destination in the landscape of the Iijoki River in northern Finland. Nomaji has been responsible for the landscape design of the manor’s yard. Teemu Kurkela / JKMM has been the head designer of the renovation of Akola Manor.
