The Kaapelipuisto park

Kaapelipuisto is part of the renewal of Kaapeli area in Helsinki, launched by the Dance House Helsinki. The project also includes Kaapeliaukio and the green roofs of the Tanssi talo.

Alku goes Carbon Play

On Saturday 26.8, Nomaji organised Alku workshop on the theme of Carbon Play in front of the Oodi library. The workshop was arranged in collaboration with CO-CARBON, as part of the Carbon Smart Green Infrastructure festival.

Kaijonharju master plan of outdoor environment

The master plan of the outdoor environment of Kaijonharju is based on the Linnanmaa-Kaijonharju plan frame. The master plan creates an identity for the developing area and highlights the potential of the outdoor spaces.

Pakila school yard

The Pakila school yard was renovated in connection with the renovation and expansion of the school building. The starting point of the design were three main themes: an environment that encourages movement, the health and well-being effects of nature, and pedagogical opportunities outdoors.

Puotila school yard

The plot of the Puotila elementary school is centrally located between the residential area and the metro station. The old elementary school and barracks were demolished under the new building.

Vision of the local train station’s environment in Tesoma 

The current identity of the Tesoma area, located west of the center of Tampere, consists of very different distinctive areas, the most significant of which can be considered the construction by the forest typical to 1970s. With the completion of the urban structure, the development of the local train stop’s environment become topical.

Makasiiniranta competition

In the design competition organized by the city of Helsinki, a viable development solution was sought for the development of the Makasiinranta area located in the south harbor. The competition was decided in November 2022.

Ecosystem services and green network of the Uusikaupunki city

In support of partial master plan planning, a blue-green structure and ecosystem service study of the immediate surroundings of the city center was done. The goal of the study was to secure the area’s most important nature values ​​and ecosystem services as the urban structure becomes denser.

Lohja partnership block

The aim of the design for the partnership block completed for the Lohja housing fair of 2021 was to encourage communality and encounters between inhabitants in a village-like, cozy scale. In addition to the functions of the residential yard, the outdoor areas of the daycare center and nursing home are also located in the common yard.
