We warmly welcome everyone to join us in the next Science afternoon with the theme ”Children´s environment”. How and what kind of urban spaces do children use? How could school and kindergarten yards better support children’s equality?
We will have two introductions to the topic of the day. Anna Broberg (D.Sc. in Land Use Planning and Transport Engineering, COO Mapita Oy) will give us insights about her research of children´s mobility in urban space. Broberg´s research use GIS. Anni Järvitalo from Nomaji will present the design guidelines of outdoor learning spaces. Nomaji defined the guidelines for Building information in 2019.
