Leikin ja liikkeen lumo guide published

Leikin ja liikkeen lumo (the magic of play and movement) – a guide to nature-based play and exercise environments by Nomaji is now published! Currently the guide is only available in Finnish, but English and Swedish translations will be available this spring.

Leikin ja liikkeen lumo was made during 2025 with support from the Ministry of Education and Culture, and a multidisciplinary group of experts participated in its preparation. The child-centred guide contains current and practical, future-oriented information on the utilisation of nature elements and nature-based solutions in public play and exercise environments. The guide is aimed broadly at parties involved in the implementation of these environments. Investing in nature-based environments is an investment in children’s equality, well-being and a sustainable future.
